When should I use a dauber brush vs a large brush?

The large brush is meant to quickly remove loose dirt. The dauber brush is used to help scrub the leather, especially the seams, stitching, and hard to get to areas. Both brushes can be used to work conditioner or oil deep into the leather fibers.
How often should I clean my leather?

Typically you would clean your leather before you apply oil or conditioner or if it is visibly dirty. Cleaning the leather too often will strip it of its natural oils and cause it to dry out.
How often should I use oil on my leather?

Oil your leather when it appears dry or lighter in color. Leather will lose its natural oils as it gets used and will need to be rehydrated or it will begin to dry out, crack, and become stiff.

Our Rhino Wax 100% Genuine Horse Hair Brush is the ideal brush for cleaning and polishing shoes, boots, horse tack. Your purchase includes one 5.5" horsehair brush with hardwood handle. Leather footwear requires regular cleaning and polishing to maintain top quality condition and appearance. Our horsehair brush with soft bristles effectively cleans, buffs and shines your leather products while being gentle enough not to scuff, scratch or damage them. How to use a horsehair brush to clean shoes: 1. Remove any loose dirt or debris from shoes and make sure shoes are dry. 2. Apply Rhino Wax Leather Cleaner with brush and gently massage to penetrate and clean leather. 3. Wipe with a clean cloth. 4. Repeat steps 2-3 with Leather Oil to hydrate, and then Leather Conditioner and/or Waterproofer to seal in oil and protect. Follow up with your favorite polish to make your boots and shoes look like new. Our smooth wooden brush measures 5.5" and is ergonomically designed with grooves on the side for a solid, comfortable grip.
